    From Groei you log in over SSH and work on the server the way you are used to: pull your code with Git, install dependencies with Composer or npm, and manage WordPress with WP-CLI. Kracht adds Node.js, Python and Redis.

    What is the difference between the packages?
    The packages differ mainly in the number of websites, storage, email accounts and databases. The entry package (2 websites, 15 GB) suits a personal site or a small project. The middle one (10 websites, 75 GB) is built for growing companies and agencies. The largest (unlimited websites, 300 GB) is meant for webshops and heavier sites with a lot of traffic. All packages include NVMe SSD storage, free SSL and the DirectAdmin control panel.
    Which PHP versions are supported?
    We run several PHP versions side by side, up to and including PHP 8.5 — the latest. You choose the version per website, so an older application can keep running while a new site uses the most recent one.
    How fast is NVMe compared to a regular SSD?
    NVMe talks to the processor directly over PCIe, where SATA shares an older and slower bus. You notice it most with databases and with sites made of many small files — WordPress with a stack of plugins, for instance.
    How does the free website migration work?
    After you order we contact you to plan it. We ask for access to your current hosting and move your files, databases, email accounts and settings. We do this outside peak hours so there is no downtime. A migration is usually complete within 24 to 48 hours.
    What about the uptime of my website?
    We aim for 99.9% uptime — that works out to at most around 8.8 hours of downtime a year. Our infrastructure is redundant and continuously monitored, so your site stays reliably online.
    Do I get a free domain name with my hosting?
    With Groei and Kracht you get one domain name free for the first year — .nl, .com, .eu or .be — when you pay yearly. With Starter, or when you pay monthly, you connect a domain you already own or register one separately.
    Is this suitable as WordPress hosting?
    Yes. WordPress installs in one click, with automatic updates, a firewall against attacks on WordPress and a staging environment to test changes safely first. From Groei you also get SSH access and WP-CLI.
    Can I use email on my own domain?
    Yes, in every plan. You create email addresses on your own domain, with webmail, and over IMAP, POP3 and SMTP it also works in your mail client and on your phone.
