Your own licence with the Dutch rights societies covers the Netherlands. Once one other country passes two percent of your listeners, a foreign society may want a licence of its own.
A listener outside your area uses the same bandwidth as one inside and brings you nothing — no advertiser, no reach that counts.

Works with the encoder you already have
You connect over Shoutcast or Icecast, the way you are used to. Your listeners get Icecast or HLS — whichever their player handles.
Encoders and website widgets have been reading `/7.html` on the stream port for twenty years — that one line of numbers from Shoutcast. We serve it there too. Move over from Shoutcast and your counter in RadioBOSS or SAM Broadcaster keeps working, and the block on your site stays filled. With a plain Icecast host you lose that address, and it breaks silently: the stream plays on and the counter stays empty.
The panel fetches your bulletins itself — from an RSS feed, an FTP or SFTP server, or you drop them in — and airs them at the top of the hour. A bulletin that is too old gets skipped rather than aired as yesterday’s news. No grabber on a PC that has to stay on.
